Akuapem Poloo, a Ghanaian actress and businesswoman, recently opened up to Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM.
Akuapem Poloo, a Ghanaian actress and film producer, claims that Tracey Boakye made a commitment to look after her son when she was in legal trouble for indecent exposure.
Tracey had agreed to cover her son’s tuition while she resolved her legal issues, but she had broken that commitment, according to Akuapem Poloo.
She also disclosed how Ayisha Modi, the artist manager, had promised to provide her a plot of property but had failed to follow through.
Recall that the 90-day prison sentence imposed on social media sensation Akuapem Poloo by the criminal division of the High Court was overturned by the Court of Appeal sometime in 2021.
Akuapem Poloo must return to the Nsawam Medium Security Prison on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, to serve out the remainder of her 90-day sentence, under the High Court’s judgement.
This came after her appeal for a non-custodial term rather than a jail sentence was denied by the High Court, which was presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey.
The Circuit Court sentenced her to 90 days in custody, and the High Court said the sentence was not “manifestly excessive” or “harsh” and that it cannot overturn it.
