Akufo-Addo Reacts To The Death Of 15 Persons After Church Building In Akim Batabi Collapses

President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has reacted to the sad news of the death of 15 persons who passed on after a church building in Akim Batabi collapsed.

You will recall that a church building in Akim Batabi collapse yesterday, leaving almost 51 persons trapped in the debris. 15 persons were reported dead and 8 persons badly injured.

Akufo-Addo took to his official Twitter page to send his condolences to the families of the lost souls.

He noted on Twitter:

“On behalf of Government and the people of Ghana, I send my deepest condolences to the families of the 15 persons who lost their lives tragically in the church building that collapsed at Akim Batabi near Oda. I wish the 8 injured persons a speedy recovery.”
