Andre Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars, has expressed his sadness and concern for the well-being of Christian Atsu.
Atsu, a star player for the national team, has been missing since the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
Ayew mentioned that not only he, but the entire country of Ghana is praying for Atsu’s safe return.
“I’m very sad, I’m very down. The whole of Ghana is praying for him [Atsu] to be good and okay… he was a great national team asset” — Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew noted.
Atsu is considered a valuable asset to the national team and his absence is deeply felt.
In the wake of the disaster, Ayew encourages the public to keep Atsu and the families affected by the earthquakes in their thoughts and prayers.
