Rev. Counsellor Lutterodt, a prominent marriage counsellor, has sparked debate with his views on DNA testing for paternity confirmation.
Contrary to the growing trend of men conducting DNA tests on their children, Lutterodt believes only men with mental health issues would do so.
“People who conduct DNA tests have mental health issues,” he stated. “What are you doing DNA tests for? I have no use for DNA tests.”
Lutterodt further expressed his nonchalance about infidelity, saying, “Why would I cry if my wife cheated on me and got pregnant?… I won’t be bothered if my wife has an affair with another man.”
The counsellor, married for 26 years, emphasized, “She understood what she did.”
His comments come amidst a growing discussion on paternity verification and the role of DNA testing in relationships.
