In a landmark decision on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the court ruled in the divorce settlement between Ghanaian football star Asamoah Gyan and his ex-wife Gifty Gyan.
After years of a bitter legal battle, the court confirmed that Asamoah Gyan is indeed the father of their three children.
As part of the settlement, Asamoah Gyan has been ordered to pay his ex-wife Gifty Gyan a monthly stipend of GH¢ 25,000 for the upkeep of their three children.
This stipend covers various childcare costs, excluding school fees, medical and dental care, and flight tickets.
In addition to the monthly stipend, Gifty Gyan has been awarded several valuable assets, including Asamoah Gyan’s mansion in the United Kingdom.
Furthermore, she will gain possession of a four-bedroom house located in Spintex, along with two vehicles—a BMW and an Infiniti—owned by Asamoah Gyan.
