Ghanaian footballer Asamoah Gyan has arrived at Christian Atsu’s family house to mourn with the family at the late footballer’s one-week celebration.
Gyan is not the only personality there, the likes of Stephen Appiah, John Paintsil, and Sammy Kuffour were equally present at the Adjiranganor Atsr turf.
The four legends were dressed in traditional black and white mourning attire and were warmly welcomed by Atsu’s family.
The one-week observation is a traditional Ghanaian funeral custom that serves as a time for mourning and remembrance.
Christian Atsu’s one-week celebration is being observed at the East Legon Adjiringanor Astro Turf.
Atsu met his untimely death following a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6, 2023.
