Christian Atsu the late winger of the Black Stars perished in the Turkey-Syria earthquake after being stuck under the rubble of his apartment.
Atsu was buried on the 17th of March, 2023 in Ada, his hometown.
Christiana Atsupie, the late Atsu’s sister takes charge of his Orphanage home as she continues her brother’s generous legacy.
Atsupie visited the orphanage together with Abdul Hayye Yartey, Atsu’s former local manager, Crime Check boss, Ibrahim Kwarteng, and others.
“All hope is not lost, the baton has been passed to me; My brother Atsu is not here, but Atsupie is here to continue with his work” – Christiana Atsupie Twasam said to the orphans who were regular beneficiaries of late Christian Atsu’s humanitarian gestures.
