
<p class="has-drop-cap">The novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been found to exist in seminal fluid and can be transmitted through sexual intercourse.</p>



<p>This was discovered by Chinese researchers, reports the wall street journal.</p>



<p>Traces were found in samples of patients in China who donated days after their symptoms had subsided.</p>



<p>One of the patients in the study, at Shangqui Municipal Hospital in Henan Province, tested positive for Covid-19 in his semen 16 days after coming down with the virus and three days after clinical recovery.</p>

<p>Health officials had already warned against sex for people who had the disease but as a result of the close contact, not babies the disease was an STD.</p>



<p>However, the result of the new research has led officials to believe that the virus could also be transmitted via the semen.</p>
