A bizarre incident has struck Akyem Osenase in the Eastern Region, where 22 people have reportedly died within a month and two weeks after consuming stolen pregnant goats.
According to reports from Agoo FM, two goat owners resorted to invoking curses after their animals were stolen.
The curses were believed to have been triggered when the thieves sold the goats to a local drinking bar, where many people consumed the meat.
The victims reportedly died under mysterious circumstances, with the first deaths occurring shortly after consuming the goat meat.
The incident has sparked fear and confusion in the community, with many attributing the deaths to the curses invoked by the goat owners.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the mysterious deaths.
