A thrilling attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest dance by an individual is currently underway in Ghana’s Eastern Region.
Boakye Fredrick, a talented Ghanaian dancer, launched his ambitious bid on July 11, 2024, at the Kwahu-Obomeng Social Center.
Fredrick aims to surpass the existing record of 127 hours, set by India’s Srushti Sudhir Jagtap in 2022. His daring goal is to dance nonstop for seven consecutive days, totaling 168 hours of continuous movement.
As of our press time, Fredrick had already surpassed the six-hour mark, demonstrating his remarkable endurance and dedication.
His energetic performances have captivated social media users, with clips of his dance routines going viral on TikTok.
The dance marathon is expected to conclude on July 18, 2024. If successful, Fredrick will etch his name in the Guinness World Records book, bringing pride to Ghana and inspiring dancers globally.
