Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has reignited his long-standing rivalry with fellow artist Davido, sparking fresh controversy across social media.
This renewed tension comes months after the two artists clashed on X (formerly Twitter) in May, with Wizkid taking shots at both Davido and Mavin Records’ Don Jazzy.
The feud escalated again on Tuesday when Davido teased a snippet of his upcoming 2024 single, coinciding with the release of Wizkid’s much-anticipated track from his forthcoming “Morayo” album. Davido hinted that his song would be a major hit, aimed at celebrating Nigeria’s independence.

However, Wizkid appeared unimpressed, taking to social media to post, “Pussy boys dropping mid again. Una nor dey tire,” a comment widely interpreted by fans as a direct dig at Davido.
This sparked a heated exchange, with one of Davido’s associates accusing Wizkid of using Davido’s name for clout. A fan defending Davido tweeted at Wizkid, “So if you no beef @davido, your song won’t sell?” further fueling the ongoing drama.
