Diana Asamoah’s Phone Stolen While Performing At NAPO’s Unveiling

Renowned gospel musician and NPP supporter, Diana Asamoah, experienced a distressing incident on Tuesday when her phone was stolen during a party rally at Jubilee Park.

The rally was held to unveil Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as the party’s Vice Presidential candidate alongside Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 election.

While performing, Asamoah’s attention was briefly diverted, allowing the theft to occur. Overcome with emotion, she halted her performance to announce the loss, visibly tearful.

The incident cast a somber tone on an otherwise jubilant occasion for NPP supporters.

The theft has raised concerns about security at the event, which drew high-ranking NPP officials and supporters.

Witnesses reported that Asamoah was visibly shaken, pleading with the crowd to help recover her stolen phone.

Despite the incident, the rally continued with vigor, featuring performances from other artists and speeches from party leaders, including Dr. Bawumia and NAPO.

The event marked a significant milestone in the NPP’s campaign for the 2024 elections.

Asamoah’s management has declined to comment, but sources close to her indicate she appreciates the support and concern from fans and the NPP community. The incident underscores the importance of vigilance and security at public events.
