The Central Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Ms Irene Oppong has advised victims of sexual abuse not to bath before reporting their incidents.
According to Ms Irene Oppong, most of the evidence of sexual abuse that would aid in investigation would have been destroyed when victims bath before reporting.
Furthermore, she advised that dirt or any other relevant evidence surrounding the ordeal should not be clean. This Will aid the police and investigators to come out with much evidence to prosecute the offenders.
This comes in the wake of ‘Sex for Grades‘, a documentary by the BBC to expose immorality and sexual abuse in the West Africa universities.
In other news, a senior lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), has disclosed in an interview that a female student in a top university in the country once offered to give him sex for grades.
