Dumsor: Prof. Adei Says Current Situation Not as Bad as Under Mahama

Professor Stephen Adei, a former Rector of GIMPA, has offered his thoughts on the current power outages in Ghana, popularly known as “Dumsor”.

In an interview with TV3 on Monday, April 22, Prof. Adei acknowledged that the situation is bad, but emphasized that it pales in comparison to the severity of the Dumsor days under former President Mahama.

He warned, however, that if not properly addressed, the current situation could deteriorate further. Prof. Adei’s comments come as many Ghanaians continue to grapple with the challenges posed by the frequent power outages.

The government has been working to resolve the issue, but a lasting solution has yet to be found, apparently.

Until then, citizens remain hopeful for a return to a more stable power supply.
