
<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Social commentator and activist Okatakyie Afrifa has delivered a fiery response to recent threats and curses directed at him by Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour.</strong></p>



<p>The conflict began weeks ago when Opambour, the General Overseer of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center, publicly criticized the Ghana Card initiative introduced under the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.</p>



<p> During a clergy meeting with former President John Dramani Mahama on Monday, November 11, Opambour questioned the card&#8217;s significance, repeatedly asking, &#8220;Can the Ghana Card give us free cars?&#8221;</p>



<p>His remarks sparked backlash, particularly from media personality Afia Pokua, known as Vim Lady. In a self-recorded video that went viral, Vim Lady rebuked Opambour and outlined the importance of the Ghana Card, accusing him of lacking understanding of its purpose.</p>



<p>In response, Opambour threatened to curse Vim Lady, labeling her criticisms as disrespectful. His threats further escalated when Okatakyie Afrifa stepped in to defend Vim Lady, condemning Opambour&#8217;s behavior. </p>

<p>This intervention reportedly led Opambour to extend his curses and even issue death threats against Afrifa.</p>



<p>Okatakyie Afrifa, in his latest rebuttal, dismissed Opambour’s curses, emphasizing his resilience. According to Afrifa, such threats hold no power over him.</p>



<p> His defiant response has added fuel to the ongoing public debate surrounding the controversial comments made by Opambour.</p>



<p>The confrontation has since drawn widespread attention, with many Ghanaians weighing in on the escalating tension between the parties involved.</p>
