The family of Ghanaian Kofi Pages, who lives in Canada, is debating suing Prophet Ogya Nyame, better known as Prophet Azuka, the founder of Shining Grace Chapel International, in order to protect their loved one’s rights. In retaliation to the insults he hurled at their family and their cousin, they intend to bring him before the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The family is adamant about pressing for a formal summons against Prophet Azuka and requesting an explanation for his choice to call curses against their kid and the entire family.
The conflict between Kofi Pages and Prophet Azuka originated during a TikTok live session, where Kofi Pages engaged in a heated exchange, accusing the prophet of fraudulent activities and misleading vulnerable Ghanaians under the guise of Christianity.
In response to Kofi Pages’ allegations, Prophet Azuka released a subsequent video that quickly went viral. In this video, he performed a ritual at a river, pouring libations and invoking curses upon Kofi Pages and his entire family.
Kofi Pages’ family, including his mother, grandmother, and siblings, voiced their desire to seek redress through the judicial system during an interview with Oheneba Media. They are resolved to file a formal complaint and seek redress before the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II-presiding royal court.
Nobody will show up to make a case for you. We mean business. You have bitten off more than you can chew by dragging the family into a problem you had with our kid. You cannot meddle with every family. In order for you to understand that there are laws in the Ashanti Kingdom, the entire family will confront you in the suitable location.
His grandmother said, “You will come and explain yourself to the overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom.”
