Inspector Ahmed Twumasi made his first appearance at the Asokore Mampong District Court on Tuesday 25th of April 2023. He was charged with the murder of his alleged girlfriend, Madwoa.
Twumasi was not given the chance to plead guilty or not guilty, but when questioned if he had anything to say he said only God knows his intentions.
Ahmed will be placed in police custody until the next court appearance. The Asokore Mampong District Court has set the next court date for Tuesday on the 30th of May 2023.
However, the relatives and loved ones of Maa Adwoa stormed court today to exhibit their sorrow to the court.
They were filmed while crying and weeping in a very painful manner which was sending a message that they want justice.
