Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, Finance Minister, is set to present the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
This presentation will update lawmakers on the implementation of the government’s 2024 Budget and provide revised financial plans and an updated economic outlook for Ghana.
The review will cover the economic and fiscal performance for the first half of the year, including growth measures, revenue, expenditure performance, financing, and debt sustainability.

Additionally, Dr. Amin Adam will update Parliament on the implementation of the ongoing US$3 billion International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan-supported Post-COVID-19 Programme for Economic Growth (PC-PEG).
This presentation marks Dr. Amin Adam’s first appearance in Parliament since assuming office as Finance Minister in February 2024, in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
The review is expected to provide valuable insights into Ghana’s economic performance and the government’s financial plans for the remainder of the year.
