The Ghana Police service has prevented a scheduled #FixTheCountry Demonstration/peaceful walk from taking place as they cite COVID-19 restrictions for grounds.
This was revealed by a popular netizen on Twitter who has been pivotal to the campaign – @Kalyjay.
According to KalyJay, the Ghana police have informed the leaders of the incoming demonstrations not to go ahead with.
This is because “Restrictions imposed to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has not been lifted.”.
Kaly tweeted this afternoon as the many await answers to prepare for the demonstration.
“We want to have a peaceful walk in the streets of Accra. All Covid-19 protocols will be Observed”
