The Ghana Football Association revealed its 26-man roster for the World Cup in Qatar on November 14, 2022.

Many Ghanaians have flocked to social media soon after the announcement to express their opinions on the choice.

On that note, the popular dancehall reggae performer from Ghana, Stonebwoy, also took to social media to express his opinion on the choice.

Stonebwoy expressed regret at the absence of the footballers he had anticipated seeing in the World Cup without specifically naming them.

He further charged that players had paid bribes to the Ghana Football Association in order to be selected for the Qatar 2022 squad.

The omission of Black Star favorites like Joseph Paintsil and Jeffrey Schlupp infuriated many football fans.
