Despite their captivating audition performance that earned them a spot in the next stage of Britain’s Got Talent, Ghanaian dancers Afronita and Abigail did not make it to the semi-finals.
The duo won the hearts of many Ghanaians and fans worldwide with their exceptional dance moves during the auditions.
Their performance to UK-based Ghanaian rapper Fuse ODG’s 2014 hit song “Antenna” received a standing ovation from the judges.
Judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Bruno Tonioli were thoroughly impressed, awarding Afronita and Abigail four yeses. Following their successful audition, the dancers shared pictures on May 19, 2024, of their return to the UK to continue filming the show.
However, a recent video shared on Britain’s Got Talent’s Instagram page revealed that Afronita and Abigail did not advance to the semi-final round. The full video was also posted on the show’s YouTube channel, confirming their absence from the list of acts moving forward.
