A Ghanaian man has been spotted in a trending video pouring palm oil into his car’s engine all in the name of an oil change instead of using Conventional Motor Oil.
It is an accepted practice to perform an oil change every 3,000 miles but modern lubricants have changed that.
Today, many carmakers have recommended oil change intervals of 5,000 to 7,500 miles. Also, if your car requires full-synthetic oil, it could even go as far as 15,000 miles between services.
However, this Ghanaian man claims since he started using Zomi, he barely changes his engine oil and mostly it takes him throughout the year.
He further advised that netizens proceed with caution if they intend to plow his road.
