
<p class="has-drop-cap">A Ghanaian student studying in Italy has reportedly died of the novel <a href="https://occupygh.com/category/coronavirus">Coronavirus</a> (COVID-19)</p>



<p>The sad news was revealed by a Twitter user, @<a href="https://occupygh.com/category/breaking-news">Calif_MUFC</a>, who alerted his followers to the notion that COVID-19 doesn&#8217;t affect black people.</p>



<p>He tweeted: </p>



<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">“R.I.P Kweku. For those of you out there thinking the virus doesn’t attack Blacks, well my friends in Italy died yesterday<a href="https://occupygh.com/idris-elba-tests-positive-for-coronavirus-video">.</a> I have to hold her mum here all day. Her only son died from Coronavirus. It’s not easy to lose your only child abroad studying.”</p>

<p>He also noted that the burial of the Ghanaian student will be held in Italy amidst the fear of coronavirus:</p>

<p>There was a notion that coronavirus could not infect, let alone kill the black race, but that appears to be a myth after all.</p>
