Ghanaian Students In China Cry For Gov't To Evacuate Them

Ghanaian students in China, are calling on government to evacuate them from the country because of the outbreak of coronavirus.

Ghanaians in Wuhan, the centre of the epidemic are said to have run out of food as the city has been on complete lockdown for more than a week.

The National President of the Ghanaian students in China, Felix Addo, confirmed that no Ghanaian student has been diagnosed with the coronavirus so far.

He added that the Ghanaian Ambassador to China, Edward Boateng, will be meeting the student leadership of Wuhan to discuss the issue and decide the best solution to the situation at hand, so supplies will be restocked.
