Woman In Tears After Husband Deletes Her Monetized Facebook Page Over $200 Payout

A Ghanaian woman recently took to social media to share her distress after her husband allegedly deleted her newly monetized Facebook page, which had just generated over $200 (GH¢3,255) in earnings.

The incident was highlighted by Facebook user MamaAfrica Nkeoma Adikaibe, who posted the woman’s story and asked the public for their views on handling such a situation.

According to Nkeoma, the woman’s page had gone viral with two popular posts, which were still gaining revenue until her husband’s actions abruptly halted the earnings.

The woman expressed her heartbreak, saying, “It was supposed to keep spreading and earning, but my husband deleted the page.

She had invested considerable time and effort in building the page to reach monetization, only for her husband to erase it due to his disapproval of her online activities.

Nkeoma elaborated that the husband didn’t want his wife engaged in Facebook content creation, prompting him to take this drastic step.

The post has since sparked a lively debate on social media, with users discussing financial independence, marital boundaries, and support in relationships.
