Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay is currently under social media scrutiny for sending a tweet to the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo.
In the tweet, Wendy Shay requested that Akufo-Addo invites her to the Flagstaff house just as he did to dancehall artiste Shatta Wale to discussed matters relating to the creative art.
Wendy Shay’s tweet read:
“Dear @NAkufoAddo, we appreciate the love you’ve shown towards the creative art. I plead that as you invited the King @shattawalegh the same way you can invite the Queen of Gh Music @wendyshaygh.The industry is not being fair to GH female artists…
