God Gave Ghanaians Bad Leaders Due to Their Bad Character — Kofi Amoabeng

Former CEO of Unique Trust Financial Services, Kofi Amoabeng, has offered a controversial perspective on Ghana’s leadership, suggesting that the behavior of the average Ghanaian influences the quality of leaders the country gets.

In an interview, the renowned businessman described the average Ghanaian as “bad, evil, and jealous.”

He argued that these negative traits are why, in his view, God has allowed bad leaders to emerge in the country.

“God gives us bad leaders because of our bad attitudes,” Amoabeng stated, implying that the leadership challenges in Ghana reflect the moral and ethical shortcomings of the population.

His comments have sparked debate, with some agreeing with his assertions, while others have criticized him for generalizing the behavior of Ghanaians.
