Gospel Musician Philipa Baafi Discloses How Top Political Party Paid Her Huge Money Without Doing Anything

Gospel musician Philipa Baafi has clarified that she did not campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) before the 2008 General Elections.

Her song “Go High,” which became the official campaign song for then-presidential candidate Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, was not specifically composed for the NPP.

She added that despite the song not being recorded for the party, they approached her and paid her for the right to use her hit song.

She explained that “Go High” was a song about victory, and the NPP chose it for their campaign because they appreciated its message. She stated, “I did not do that song for the NPP. It is a song that touched on victory and the party loved it so they hopped on it to use for their campaign and they paid for copyrights.”

In other news, Philipa Baafi, once a vibrant minister of the gospel through music, has graduated as a certified and licensed medical doctor.

Adding to this achievement, she is set to open her own hospital, the Philibells Medical Center.

Philipa Baafi announced her new venture via Instagram, sharing a promotional flier and a photo of herself in a medical doctor’s attire.
