
<p class="has-drop-cap">The government has hit back at former President John Mahama after he criticized the distribution of ambulances in the country.</p>



<p>Speaking at a media briefing in Accra, Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, said Mr. Mahama is only trying to score political points.</p>



<p>The former President during an interaction with selected media personnel on Thursday (January 30) accused President Akufo-Addo of distributing ambulances without resourcing health facilities in the country.</p>

<p>According to him, the ambulances may not be able to serve their purpose, especially handling emergency cases.</p>



<p>But the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, said Mr. Mahama is trying to cause some disaffection for what the government has done.</p>



<p>Mr. Oppong Nkrumah asked former President Mahama, to stop running his mouth on the current state of the economy if he has nothing to bring on board.</p>



<p>The Information Minister also touched on the contradiction former President Mahama referred to, concerning the banking sector crisis.</p>



<p>Mr. Oppong Nkrumah explained that state institutions will no sooner than later make known the level of implementation to the government’s White Paper on the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.</p>
