The Ministry of Education is set to embark on a strategic recruitment drive to bolster the teaching workforce in Senior High Schools, addressing a long-standing shortage of educators in critical subjects.
Announcing the initiative, Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum revealed that the limited recruitment exercise, commencing next week, aims to enhance the quality of education by deploying skilled teachers where they are needed most.
The move is expected to bring relief to overburdened teachers, create a more conducive learning environment, and ultimately improve student outcomes.
Although specifics of the recruitment process remain under wraps, the Ministry has pledged a transparent and merit-based selection process.
