Hands Off Our Hotels: Protesters Demand Government Halt Hotel Sale

Protesters gathered in Accra, Ghana to demonstrate against the government’s decision to sell a 60% stake in four hotels to Rock City Hotel, owned by Minister of Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong.

The sale has been met with opposition due to concerns about cronyism and corruption ². The Minority in Parliament has declared full support for the protest.
