Hull City Striker Benjamin Tetteh, Couldn’t Hold His Tears After His First Goal To Honor Atsu

Christian Atsu Twasam was born on the 10th of January 1992 died in an Earthquake in February 2023.

Atsu was a Ghanaian professional footballer who mostly played as a winger, even though he was also moved as an attacking midfielder or left-back.

Atsu is survived by his Marie-Claire Rupio with whom he had two sons and a daughter. Atsu is a twin, and his twin sister is known as Atsupie.

On the 6th of February 2023, he went missing in the immediate aftermath of the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake.

On the 18th of February, confirmation was received by his agent that the body of Atsu recovered from the rubble of the building where he was residing in.

Atsu will be buried on the 17th of March, 2023.

However, Ghanaian players across the world are still paying tributes to the late winger anytime they bag a goal. Benjamin Tetteh, Black k Stars player who played for Hull City got his first goal and couldn’t hold his tears.

He was a close friend of Atsu and used his goal as a tribute to the legend.
