<p><strong>Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has thrown his weight behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party&#8217;s (NPP) presidential candidate, praising his policies as pivotal for Ghana&#8217;s development. </strong></p>



<p>Speaking at a mini rally in Abuakwa South, Mr. Kufuor urged voters to support Dr. Bawumia, citing his vision and strategies as key to alleviating hardships and fostering progress.</p>



<p>Mr. Kufuor&#8217;s endorsement has sparked controversy, with critics, including Movement for Change flagbearer Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, calling on him to remain neutral.</p>



<p> However, the former President has defended his position, stating that his experience and wisdom justify his opinion on national matters.</p>



<p>Dr. Bawumia&#8217;s policies, particularly his focus on training the youth in entrepreneurial and digital skills, have been praised by Mr. Kufuor. </p>
