Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, has said although he was born into a very devout Muslim home, it took the Bible for him to be saved in his time of grave troubles.

According to him, he faced some troubles in his life and his parents and Muslim doctrines did not save him; it took the Holy Bible for him to regain his freedom.

In an Instagram Live session, the 40-year-old actor said the Bible has now become his life manual and it has helped to shape his life irrespective of his Muslim background.

“Although I have only gone to church once in my entire life, I read the bible a lot. My name is Azeez; I was born into a staunch Muslim family.

When I was troubled and frustrated, it was the bible that saved me, as my parents and family members couldn’t. So, I picked up the bible and it became my life manual,” he said.

Muslims and Christians have always displayed their biases since the begging of religious practices with one believing his or her religion is superior to the other.

This had led to a lot of contradictions, unnecessary vendettas, and an absolute distortion of brotherliness. But for Bolanle Ninalowo, he believes as long as the Bible solves his problems, he doesn’t mind if he is a Muslim or not.
