Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has announced his intention to retire from music, citing the GOG album as his last project.

Why is Shatta Wale taking this decision to retire?

According to the acclaimed African Dancehall King, it is time for him to step back and ‘create employment for those who still want to follow the course of music.

The ‘Kaikai’ hitmaker made the shocking news in a recent Twitter post. He noted:

“THIS #GOGALBUM WILL BE MY RETIREMENT ALBUM.
Made enough to go into new businesses and create employment for those who still want to follow the course !”
