Dr UN, a Ghanaian award-show organizer, has announced plans to present President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with an award in December 2024, just before the President leaves office.
The event is billed as a sendoff party, with royals and other dignitaries in attendance, each receiving their own awards.
However, the announcement has sparked amusement and skepticism on social media, given Dr UN’s history of presenting fake awards to celebrities, including Sarkodie and Berla Mundi, earning him the nickname “Dr UN”.
Dr UN has denied allegations that he also presented a fake Guinness World Records plaque to Chef Smith, despite the controversy surrounding the award.
The planned award ceremony has sparked debate, with many questioning the legitimacy and motives behind Dr UN’s gesture.
