I’m not safe in Ghana anymore, I’ve written to Ecowas, United Nation and other human right organizations for security — Bongo Ideas

Bongo Ideas has expressed concerns over his safety in Ghana, particularly after a recent encounter with individuals posing as police officers.

In an exclusive interview with Captain on the Onua Maakye show, the outspoken activist shared that his arrest in a forceful manner and subsequent mistreatment has led him to believe that Ghana is no longer a secure place for him.

Feeling vulnerable, he disclosed that he has reached out to organizations such as ECOWAS and the African Union seeking assistance. To mitigate the risk of similar incidents, he has opted to sleep at the homes of friends and family rather than in his own residence.

Expressing a desire for enhanced security, he revealed that he would consider traveling to the United States if he were able to do so.
