
<p class="has-drop-cap">BREAKING: Prof Jacob Plange-Rhule Is Dead Amidst Coronavirus Pandemic.</p>



<p>Ghana has lost a medical doctor, Educator Jacob Plange-Rhule to the cold hands of death amidst <a href="https://occupygh.com/category/coronavirus">Coronavirus</a> (COVID-19) pandemic.</p>



<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">Jacob Plange-Rhule died on Friday morning at the University of Ghana Medical Centre, in Accra, where he had been on admission for a short while<a href="https://occupygh.com/jacob-plange-rhule-is-dead-amidst-coronavirus-pandemic">.</a></p>



<p><a href="https://occupygh.com/">OccupyGh.com</a> gathered from hospital sources that he had been referred to the Centre from a private care and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with a critical condition.</p>

<p>However within a few days he showed great signs of recovering from his ailment and looked hearty, chatting with family and friends alike when all of a sudden he relapsed and gave up Friday morning.</p>

<p>Jacob Plange-Rhule was the former Rector of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS) and past president of the Ghana Kidney Association (GKA).</p>



<p>Before he was appointed the head of the GCPS, Professor Plange-Rhule was the Head of the Department of Physiology at the KNUST School of Medical Sciences, and a Consultant Physician in the Department of Medicine at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.</p>
