Jesus Only Died For His Generation Not Ours — Sofo Kyiri Abosom

Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, the leader of the Ghana Union Movement and the Life Assembly Worship Centre in Darkuman, Accra, has offered insights into the reasons behind the sizable congregation he leads.

In an interview with Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang on the Class Morning Show, Osofo Kyiri Abosom made a surprising revelation: he does not adhere strictly to the Bible. He expressed his belief that the Bible, though historically significant, does not possess inherent power or authority to be solely relied upon.

Rather than depending solely on written scriptures, Osofo Kyiri Abosom emphasized the importance of direct communication with God. He suggested that individuals should seek guidance and inspiration directly from God, who is alive and capable of communicating with them.

Highlighting the distinctive nature of his teachings and approach, Osofo Kyiri Abosom attributed the large congregation he leads to the uniqueness of his message. He asserted that his teachings differ from those of other pastors, which resonates with people and attracts them to his ministry.

Regarding his usage of the Bible, Osofo Kyiri Abosom stated that he primarily uses it for comparative and illustrative purposes, rather than as the ultimate authority. He posited that the contents of the Bible were intended for the people of biblical times and may not necessarily apply directly to contemporary individuals.

In a departure from conventional Christian doctrine, Osofo Kyiri Abosom suggested that Jesus’ sacrifice was specifically for the people of his era and not necessarily applicable to the present. He emphasized the importance of personal experiences and interactions over blind adherence to written texts.

Overall, Osofo Kyiri Abosom’s views challenge traditional interpretations of scripture and underscore the significance of direct spiritual connection and individual discernment.
