Ghanaian musician Kumi Guitar has been robbed by ‘smart street boys’ in Accra as per this new video that has just surfaced on the internet.
The video privy to OccupyGh.com which is currently making rounds on social media was apparently shared by Kumi Guitar himself.
In the video, Kumi is heard revealing how he just lost his phone while in a traffic in Accra.
He revealed that he was driving and was charging his phone whilst his passenger side window was down.
Whilst stuck in traffic, some street boys came and told him he had a flat tyre, distracting him just long enough for another one to take his phone.
“Street guys just picked my phone right now, I make wild. I was charging it, I placed it near the gear. My front glass on the passenger’s side was down,” he narrated.
“Right in the traffic, one guy came telling me that I had a flat tyre so I was distracted. I then became alarmed but just when I turned, I realized that my phone had been stolen. They took it from the charger, they had already left the scene.” he added.
He noted that he is sharing the video because of the pain he is feeling, so it will be as a form of advice to others:
“When you are in traffic, roll your glass up, I don’t want you to go through what I just experienced. Just be careful, roll it up and be safe. I have lost everything, my videos and voice notes. Bad day,”.
