Former Ghana Black Stars‘ coach James Kwesi Appiah has asserted that no player from the Ghanaian national team is richer than him.
According to the Ghanaian coach, who was ousted from the National Team recently, under no circumstance will he beg for money from footballers in the team.
The former Asante Kotoko made this assertion speaking in a recent interview on Angel FM.
He said:
“No Black Star player is richer than me so I will never ask a player to buy me a watch, shirt, etc. I command respect.”
Kwesi Appiah was succeeded by CK Akonnor who was recently appointed as the new national team coach for the Ghana Black Stars.
