Photos of lions looking frail and weak at zoos in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and University of Ibadan (UI) in Nigeria have sparked a discussion.
The lions look malnourished in photos shared on Instagram.
The photos are recent ones and show the skinny lions with their bones visible.
One lion has lost its tail in addition to looking malnourished.
