American pop icon Madonna has praised Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema for being a great performer as they met up for the first time.
The meeting happened backstage after his electrifying performance at the Raves and Roses concert in New York, USA.
In a video that is circulating on social media, the two musicians could be seen greeting each other warmly.
They firstly shared a deep hug after which Madonna asked if the star had fun, and he answered in the affirmative.
She said; “I’m very proud of you and I love you. You’re a great performer.”
On his part, Rema also disclosed how much he admires the pop Queen, stating that she was a great inspiration to him.
