Despite early morning rain showers, a sea of enthusiastic National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters gathered in Accra to participate in the ‘Get Fit and Ready with Mahama’ walk.
The event, aimed at promoting physical fitness and rallying support for the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, saw hundreds of participants donning NDC-branded attire and braving the wet conditions.
The walk, which began at the Accra Mall and concluded at the party’s headquarters, was led by Mahama himself, accompanied by top party officials and dignitaries.
The event was marked by music, dancing, and chanting, as supporters expressed their solidarity with the former President and their enthusiasm for the upcoming elections.
The ‘Get Fit and Ready with Mahama’ walk is part of the NDC’s efforts to energize its grassroots base and demonstrate its strength and unity ahead of the polls.
Despite the rain, the event was deemed a huge success, showcasing the party’s dedication and resolve.
