In an unfortunate occurrence that happened in Kumasi, Ghana, a man trying to upgrade to a better smartphone through a phone exchange ran with a con artist.
The man reportedly swapped phones with a roadside phone salesman without realizing the dealer was a con artist. He consequently lost not just his phone but also some cash during the transaction.
The cunning phone salesman seized the opportunity and quickly fled the area, leaving the man entirely oblivious to the fraud.
The man, frustrated and irritated by the con, resorted to dragging his buttocks in the middle of the street while cursing the con artist.
On TikTok, a video of the event has surfaced, eliciting conflicting responses on social media. While some felt for the man and could relate to his annoyance, others made fun of him for turning to such superstitious practices and thinking his curses would be effective.
Others cautioned him to quit wasting his time, saying that curses wouldn’t alter the situation and that he should instead be more watchful and cautious in his dealings going forward.
