OccupyGh.com has been informed of an unidentified man who has threatened to end his life by jumping from the Obetsebi Lamptey statue at the Obetsebi Lamptey Circle.
From what was gathered, the man is bent on ending his life because his wife has left him.
The man who appears to be holding what looks like a book climbed the statue at the amazement of onlookers who were wondering what the unidentified man was up to.
According to photos which is currently going viral on all social media platforms, the man can be seen spotting a black cardigan with a hoodie.
He was reported to have started shouting, threatening suicide immediately he climbed the statue, even as authorities tried to convince him to come down.
