In an exclusive conversation with Saddick Adams, a close friend of Michael Essien has dispelled media speculations that the football star has gone bankrupt.
Contrary to these reports, Essien is not financially distressed.
The former Black Stars player, currently in the spotlight, has decided not to address the controversy surrounding the auction of his properties.
According to his friend, Michael Essien no longer owns the two houses in question, located at Stephen Quarshie Crescent in East Legon and Trassaco, and is unconcerned about their fate.

Essien had entered into a mortgage agreement with estate developers but chose to stop paying the high monthly fees, leading to the properties being auctioned to recover the investments.
Despite this, Essien’s friend emphasized that he still owns valuable properties in London, Spain, and Ghana.
