An update to a story we published earlier today via OccupyGh.com’s city reporter, Linda Sogah, indicates that the mother and child involved in the ‘Accra New Town wall accident‘ have passed on.
The sad incident which occurred at the Accra New Town primary school this afternoon, left both mother and child in a terrible state.
It is reported that the child died on the spot and the mother died upon getting to the Police hospital in the same vicinity.
The MP of the area, Mr. Henry Quartey has promised the school with 4000 blocks, 400 cement bags, sand and some stones for a new wall to be built within 14 days.

Opinion: I ask again why should we wait for death to sound an alarm before doing the right thing ? Should we always wait for tragedy to occur?
