Ghanaian singer-songwriter, recording artist, and actress Yaa Yaa won big last night on the first day of this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA22) 2021.
Yaa Yaa who used to perform under the name Bertha emerge winner of the Music For Good category.
After receiving her award, Yaa Yaa took to Instagram page this morning to share a word of gratitude.
She wrote:
“A big congratulations to us all on this WIN!!! Music for Good!!! If my music has spoken to you, helped you through a tough situation,helped you get through life or simply made your day! This award is for you.
Thank you to God for always providing me with the grace and strength to keep moving on when sometimes I really feel like giving up. Kankam family! I love you ❤️ To all my fans(tribe) FABEBOM 👊🏽.”
