An irate protester at the ongoing #FixTheCountry protest has asserted that Ghana’s President Nana Akufo Addo is a failure after five years of leading Ghana.
Stating clearly that Nana Addo has nothing to offer Ghanaians, he detailed that the citizens are paying everything for him.
“He is now promising us after he is left with just 3 years to go… Akufo-Addo has nothing to offer Ghanaians, he is nothing but a failure… he should go and let the better person who can manage the economy to come.”

What is #FixTheCountry?
In May 2021, the hashtag #FixTheCountry and some variations were created on social media by young Ghanaians calling for social and economic reform.
The campaign quickly went viral, as thousands joined the protest movement, which also took aim at the government, perceived as having done a bad job.
